Commuter Parking
Commuter Parking is available
adjacent to the Harrison Railroad station. On the north-bound side
of the tracks, the parking lots are owned by the MTA, and have
meters at a cost of $3.00 for 18 hours. Each spot is numbered, and
the money is put into a locked box at one end of each lot. On the
southbound side of the tracks: the parking lot is owned by the Town
of Harrison. Annual permits for Town residents only are available
from Town Clerk Joseph Acocella. Permits are issued upon application
with proof of residency (Current Con Ed Bill) -- there is no waiting
list. The cost is $400 per year, with the cost pro-rated by the
quarter during the year. Daily parking permits are issued for the
occasional trip to New York, at $3.00 per day, and only if there is
space in the parking lot. Weekend and holiday parking is free. |
