COMMUTER PARKING

Dear Daily Commuter:

It is no surprise that with more and more residents heading to the city
each morning, locating a parking space for your daily commute has become a
daily challenge. In order to help alleviate the current space problem we
will begin a Commuter Parking Waiting List. There are just five parking
spaces remaining before the waiting list will become effective. If you have
not already done so, I urge you to purchase your pass before it is too
late. I cannot offer a time table as to how long the waiting time will be
once you are on the list. We will be letting people in the lot one at time
as we determine there is sufficient space.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact my office at (914)
670-3030. All the best for a pleasant and safe commute.

Regards,

Jackie Greer
Town Clerk

Commuter Parking is available adjacent to the Harrison Railroad station. On the north-bound side of the tracks, the parking lots are owned by the MTA, and have meters at a cost of $3.00 for 18 hours.  Each spot is numbered, and the money is put into a locked box at one end of each lot. On the southbound side of the tracks: the parking lot is owned by the Town of Harrison. Annual permits for Town residents only are available from Town Clerk Jackie Greer.  Permits are issued upon application with proof of residency (Current Con Ed Bill)  The cost is $600 per payable by check, cash or money order. 3 Cars may be listed.  Daily parking permits are issued for the occasional trip to New York, at $3.00 per day, and must park in the Park Ave. parking lot. Weekend and holiday parking is free.  Parking Permit Application
